Utopia Records was to open their new store in a matter of weeks. The building was to undergo a total refurbishment inside and out. After initially approaching other suppliers the owners contacted Sign Up Now with a high sense of urgency as they needed to meet their opening deadline and time was running out.

The owners had an idea of what they wanted the store to look like ?Large illuminated letters and light-boxes?. We started immediately and worked closely with Utopia producing drawings and specifications for submission to council and installing temporary signage whilst the building underwent renovations.

With such a prominent location the owners wanted big, bright lettering that could be seen from all angles of Broadway and City Road. Working within the restrictions council set we supplied large fabricated acrylic letters with reinforced sides and bright red acrylic faces.

Huge slimline light-boxes were manufactured one with interchangeable panels to allow Utopia to change back-lit posters on a regular basis. Under awning light-box and vinyl lettering was installed to the awning. To the owners delight Sign Up Now completed the job including removal of existing facia panels and extrusions, installation of new signage and all electrical connections in one day.

?We needed a large back lit neon sign in a big hurry. I had approached several large signage companies with my urgent request and Sign Up Now came to the rescue with a professional "can do" attitude. They required very little direction and made some effective suggestions for a superior look.
