Q. What types of signs do you make?

A. Basically we can supply any type of sign for any project you might have in mind click here to see our range. What set's us apart from our competitors who generally specialise in computer cut lettering is our scope. We can manufacture specialty bespoke signage out of all types of materials, so please contact us with your ideas and requirements no matter how obscure.


Q. What's the cost?

A. Signage is exclusive to the client. With each project being individual we cannot set standard pricing. Some clients require extensive graphic design work (which we can do) others need specialty signs fabricated and others just need a simple logo graphic applied for a company vehicle.

Whatever your needs, you'll find us competitive and in most cases able to work within your specified budget. The reputation of our business is built on quality and exceptional service...that said we welcome negotiation but will not compromise on these values to match quotations if we feel the end result will produce a sub standard solution.


Q. If I don't have artwork how do we proceed?

A. There are two options:

  1. You can get a logo and or brand identity created for you by a graphic designer and we have excellent contacts if you need help.
  2. We can design something for you. We are pleased to offer our smaller clients a design service at a fraction of the cost of a full branding program offered by graphic designers.

For those with an existing logo in a hard copy format we can scan and in most cases recreate it. If you are looking to modernise your brand image we have trusted contacts in the graphic design industry that we can refer you to.


Q. Which format do I send my artwork to you?

A. Artwork can be accepted in many formats via: email, 3.5" Floppy Disc, CD and even fax. Cut ready artwork for vinyl cutting must be supplied in a vector format with any fonts converted to curves or outlines. For full colour printing we accept most graphic formats such as .jpg, .gif, .tif, .eps, .ai, and most bitmap or vector formats. We use PC format but can usually convert from MAC.

Preferred cut ready formats include: Illustrator.ai : Corel10.cdr : eps

Other formats we can accept: Photoshop.psd : Acrobat.pdf : jpg : tif : bmp

Please note that we cannot guarantee your file will successfully import.

In cases where file formats cannot be used Sign Up Now can re create your logo for a small design fee.


Q. Can you supply me with artwork I can use for printing?

A. Yes we can export our designed logos to common file formats that you can use for printing of stationary etc.


Q. Do we come to you or can you visit us?

Unlike many of the sign businesses that operate these days where you have to take your ideas and designs to them, we believe that our customers' time is valuable and therefore as part of our free service we will come to you to discuss your project. Our experience and sound advice will help speed up the decision process with little inconvenience to you.


Q. Can I see the design before we go ahead?

A. Absolutely this is the only way we will do business as we require our customers to proof the design of each project. Our design team use specialised sign making software systems and with the help of digital photography in most cases we can super impose your finished sign solution over a photograph of your premises or vehicle to give you an accurate representation of the finished product.


Q. How long will it take to make and install a sign?

A. Sign Up Now prides itself in the speed of delivery of projects big and small. There are a few factors to consider namely:

  • The accessibility of your staff to answer queries and follow up tasks relating to the project
  • The complexity of the project and the materials specifications
  • The access to artwork in suitable file formats and or graphic design
  • The readiness of the location

Simple signs and vehicle graphics can be completed in two to five days from the time of enquiry. Shop signage including application of frosted films will take about a week and illuminated and or specialty/architectural signage projects can take up to a month to complete depending on complexity.


Q. How do we pay?

A. We accept payment by cash and cheque. Please review our Terms and Conditions:

TERMS & CONDITIONS:
All prices are quoted excluding GST.
Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date on the quotation.

Orders are only accepted in the following ways:

a) None account customers are required to pay a deposit of 50% on order for orders exceeding $300. For orders under $300 no deposit is required with full payment due on completion.

b) For account customers an official signed purchase order must be provided

By supplying either of the above the customer enters into a contract of sale and agrees to all terms and conditions as submitted. The final balance of payment if outstanding is due immediately on completion of work unless agreed otherwise and confirmed in writing.

All goods will remain the property of and can be reclaimed by Sign Up Now until full and final payment has bee received and cleared.


Q. Do you guarantee your work?

A. We fully guarantee all permanent signage installations for 12 months against faulty workmanship and defects and will repair any such item/defects within this timeframe. Sign Up Now uses the very best materials available to produce its signs and graphics as such properly maintained signage should last up to 10 years if cared for. Electrical lighting tubes/lamps are regarded as consumables and are not covered.
